We are well-known for our work with underwater photographers. Take a look at our superb selection of group trips with world-class leaders.
Famed Master Craftsman of underwater photography, Martin Edge will lead a group to capture images in the warm waters of Borneo’s Lankayan Island in early 2010. In October 2010, Martin travels to Sulawesi, concentrating on the soft coral reefs at Bangka Island and the many strange creatures of the Lembeh Strait. In early 2011 Martin is heading off to revisit Misool in the Raja Ampat archipelago (a place he now rates as the best underwater photography venue on earth!), while in June he will be exploring the extraordinary Cenotes of the Yucatan in Mexico.
Dr Alex Mustard heads off to capture images of Manatees in Florida in February 2010 and then in October 2010 Alex travels out to Mexico’s Sea of Cortez in search of sealions and other big animals. In February 2011 Alex will return to the Manatees of Florida. Finally, in September/October 2011, Alex will be guiding an adventurous trip to Komodo & Rinca in Indonesia.
Enjoy some warm Caribbean waters and join the search for the Whale Sharks of Utila in Honduras with Steve Fox in April 2011. Capture the ultimate Great White Shark images on Charles Hood’s photography workshop scheduled for September/October 2011.
We are delighted to welcome Shannon Conway to our leaders’ ‘club’. Shannon, in combination with world-famous guide and leader, Graham Abbott, presents Bali: The Art of Underwater Photography featuring the island’s secret reefs in April/May 2011, while in February 2012 Shannon will be guiding our very special Ultimate Raja Ampat liveaboard adventure.
By popular request, we have some new group dive adventures designed for divers travelling alone. Our Manado Solos and Manado Girls Together trips are scheduled for both 2010 and 2011.
New liveaboards include the lovely Philippine Siren and Atlantis Azores, which have differing itineraries to some superb Philippine reefs and wrecks, and the equally lovely Mandarin Siren and Indo Siren in Sulawesi, Halmahera, Komodo and Raja Ampat in Indonesia. In Fiji, Island Dancer carries just 10 clients to explore the amazing reefs with their wonderful soft corals. Humboldt Explorer carries adventurous divers to explore Wolf and Darwin in the Galapagos. And at last, after searching for the right vessel and the right itinerary in the Red Sea, we are pleased to include Royal Evolution with its superb itineraries in southernmost Egypt and Sudan.
Want to see one of the most famous wrecks in the world? The former luxury liner SS President Coolidge lies in the waters off Vanuatu. Spend an entire week on one huge wreck if you like! For those who enjoy cool water diving, why not try a visit to spectacular Alaska & British Colombia on board Nautilus Explorer.
Busy lives mean that our leisure time is precious. Our expertise lies in creating long-haul itineraries to far-flung destinations (complex, multi-centre holidays are our speciality). We welcome the challenge of taking care of all your requirements. Being keen divers ourselves, we understand your needs. Whether it be diving with sharks, snorkeling with Humpback Whales or searching for pygmy seahorses, our friendly team will be able to offer you expert advice. We will create a wonderful holiday for you, so escape from the daily routine and turn your dreams into reality. Relax, pour a glass of wine, browse through our programme and let Divequest show you ‘Everything under the Sea’.
