SIPADAN, KAPALAI & MABUL: A QUEST FOR DIVERSITY

The best of three worlds

Dates: Saturday 19th May – Saturday 2nd June 2007 (15 days)

Leader: Alex Mustard

Group Size Limit: 12 divers plus leader

Sipadan is a true wonder of the diving world. A place all divers promise themselves they must see, and once they have, they are even more determined to get back there.

So much has been written about Sipadan that it is hard to know where to begin. Even widely travelled divers run out of superlatives. To quote from Andrea and Antonella Ferrari, authors and photographers of eight underwater books, “no other place on Earth can offer so much underwater biodiversity, so much large fish action, so many rare opportunities to watch feeding, courting and mating behavior of so many different species in the course of a single dive.” The richness of the marine life and the diversity can be beyond belief.

Underwater photography and marine biologist Dr Alex Mustard is your ideal guide to the wonderful wildlife encounters and photography opportunities of Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai. There will be no formal digital photography or marine biology teaching during the trip, but Alex will always be available throughout the trip for informal discussions about underwater photography and marine life.
