To travel with others for whom diving and/or underwater photography is valued and enjoyed, to make new friends, to share experiences when the diving day is over, to visit places that are difficult (or in some cases, impossible) on your own, to take better photographs, to learn more about the reefs and their inhabitants; these are just a few of the reasons why people really love to join our group trips.
2007/8 features some ever-favourite Divequest group tours and also some innovative new trips, some with tricky logistics or other special arrangements that would be very difficult to achieve as an individual.
Divequest group adventures are for those who want to spend most of their time diving with other like minded people in the world’s most wild and wonderful waters. For many people, sharing a common purpose with an interesting and pleasant mix of fellow travellers enhances a holiday. Experiences are shared and stories exchanged over dinner or in those relaxed moments between dives. For single divers, travelling in a group usually means the chance to find a room-mate (for those who prefer to avoid expensive single-occupancy supplements) or sharing a table at dinner, as well as having a buddy in the water. Even for couples or friends there can be no doubt that travelling in a group is simply a lot more fun!
Most of our small, friendly groups are suitable for certified divers of any level – indeed anyone with a spirit of adventure and the desire to dive! Our leaders are chosen for their skills in travel management as well as their diving, marine biology or underwater photography skills. They will be familiar with the tour location, the dive sites and the many varieties of marine life that you will encounter. Our leaders on photographic trips are accomplished underwater photographers and will be on hand to pass on their experience to you.
There’s something for everyone: choose an adventure. See for yourself!
